Election Hero's Day at the Aurora Office of the Kane County Clerk's Office

Election Hero's Day!

The League of Women Voters Aurora Area visited the Aurora office of the Kane County Clerk to express appreciation for the staff on Election Hero’s Day. The staff was given donuts, a thank you sign, and lots of gratitude for making it possible for our community to vote during the pandemic. They put their lives at risk so we could vote!

The League of Women Voters Aurora Area formed in the summer of 2019 serving Aurora and its surrounding communities of Oswego, North Aurora, Montgomery, Yorkville, and Sugar Grove.

Our mission is to empower voters and defend democracy. We promote informed, active participation in government, work to increase the understanding of major public policy issues, and influence public policy through education and advocacy.
